Our Ministry
Lutheran Campus Ministry in Fresno is a dynamic, creative, and diverse ministry that embodies the gracious presence of God on college and university campuses throughout the Fresno area. For more information each of our areas of ministry, follow the title links below. Our ministry focuses on three main areas:
- Ministry Among Lutheran Students and Young Adults This ministry involves all of the activities designed to enrich the faith and life of Lutheran students and young adults. Over the past 15 years, literally hundreds of Lutheran students and young adults have been involved in worship, Bible study and discussion groups, fellowship activities, and a variety of service projects.
- Ministry Among Lutheran Faculty and Staff LCM seeks to provide support and encouragement to Lutheran faculty and staff on our local college and university campuses.
- Ministry Within the University A great deal of time and energy goes into this area of ministry as LCM seeks to build relationships across the campuses, support students in their academic careers, and be the presence of the Church within the university community. This diverse and dynamic ingredient of ministry includes a wide variety of program and projects like the SMILE Center, the Bulldog Food Pantry, and University HOPE.
